Home Store + More, Irelands leading independent homewares retailer began their journey in 2004 with their first store. Since then, the company has expanded rapidly with 27 stores in Ireland and the UK, and an ambitious future plan. One of Home Store + Mores most important objectives is to ensure that customers leave their stores delighted. In order to achieve this objective colleague training is crucial.

In 2019 Home Store + More implemented SeamsCloud LMS online training platform across their business. The LMS allows the company to train their 1000+ employees on 19 different eLearning modules, in an automated and structured manner.

In the first month of the LMS system going live, over 1000 training courses were taken. This would previously have been a costly milestone to reach. One year on from implementation, Home Store + More have more 10,000 training records available on their LMS.

Customer Perceptions

Customer Perceptions is one of Irelands leading consumer market research agencies. With 25 full time employees and almost 10,000 field researchers across Ireland and further afield, they faced many challenges in streamlining their training processes. 

Customer Perceptions have many types of training their team need to complete ranging from full new internal employee onboarding programmes to ad-hoc field researcher compliance training. Another challenge was the monitoring of training and storing of training records. Without an in-house training department, this was a huge feat.

Customer Perceptions began using SeamsCloud LMS in 2016 with just their internal team. Since then, they have since expanded the use of SeamsCloud to also include all of their field researchers. SeamsCloud is also used to ensure compliance documents such as NDA’s, security documents etc are issued to all field researchers, verified and recorded. 


McCarthys Insurance

The McCarthy Insurance Group are a well known and highly reputable Irish company serving over 100,000 customers and dealing with 150 product providers offering a nationwide service.

All businesses face challenges when it comes to training large volumes of staff members. For McCarthy Insurance Group, these challenges included training over 200 staff members across 17 locations, offering 40 different types of insurance products and ensuring product knowledge across branches. McCarthy Insurance also needed to ensure standardised procedures and service level performance across branches.

In 2016 McCarthy Insurance implemented SeamsCloud LMS across their business, which allows them to train all staff in all departments, remotely and quickly. SeamsCloud LMS has provided MCCarthy Insurance Group with the tools they need to seamlessly deliver powerful training courses to their staff members, in a short period of time. With over 11,000 training courses completed, and almost 5,000 training hours used, their training programme is now of world-class standard.

    At Tayto Park, our front-line staff are our direct link to our customers on a daily basis and ensuring that they understand what good customer service is has become a training priority for us. With over 200 staff, arranging training using a face-to-face approach was a hugely time-consuming and costly task.           SeamsCloud has been absolutely invaluable to me in terms of measuring and managing staff training records. The time it has saved cannot be measured, and the fact that all compliance records are audit ready at the click of the button just makes it so efficient. I love that we can control the training sessions, the duration of validity, how they must be taken. I also love that we can upload all our own personal training and SOP’s, and being able to see in just a few steps, outstanding training, enrolment reports, etc is just fantastic. The system is also always evolving and continually making small but significant improvements to make it even more user friendly – like asking for user feedback! Honestly, don’t know how we would manage all out training without SeamsCloud, it would need a full time staff member to what would be a very manual task.
